About University Service Learning

University Service Learning is housed in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and offers courses to students of any ASU major or college. The University Service Learning mission is to:

• Provide ASU students the opportunity to link collegiate coursework with meaningful service to the community that enhances the learning process, develops leadership skills, and promotes life-long civic engagement
• Serve as a resource for ASU faculty and K-12 teachers to integrate service learning methods into curricula
• Partner community agencies and schools with ASU students to collaboratively have a positive impact on our community through service learning
